Arts & Crafts Copper Firedogs (Pair)
I love Arts & Crafts style and if it’s a bit of copper with some verdigris, I’m smitten. These firedogs caught my eye in a recent auction and I just fell in love with them. These firedogs are on the smaller side, measuring about 25 cm tall and would be for decorative rather than functional use. They are designed to go on either side of a fire basket in a smaller fireplace such as in a bedroom or snug.
I bought them because I thought they would make amazing bookends as well! Imagine them sitting on a shelf with a set of collected works between them! They are really lovely and are definitely worth being on show.
