19th century Hardwood Rustic Chair (a barn find)
This chair sat languishing in a barn for decades before being brought back out into the open and into use.
The chair is made of solid hardwood (probably oak) and remains in its rustic state as I couldn't bear to strip or sand off the patina that the years of barn environment has given it. The chair is solid and in good condition, with no loose joints or instability. It is very simple in its design, and has been cleaned of cobwebs and dust, ready to take centre stage in a hallway or other place of prominence in someone's home where it belongs.
The chair seat measures 40cm high and approximately 45cm wide. The chair back comes to 76.5cm tall.
